Journey – Page 99

None of them have the strength to get off the jeeps and check who the people in the strange pickup that appears out of nowhere are. Fortunately for the group, none of the Egyptians noticed the fact that there were seven people in the pickup truck instead of five, which would have automatically made them suspicious. The pickup continues on its way without stopping at the patrol and slides from the mountains into the streets of Eilat. Eli steers the car through the deserted streets until he finally stops at the entrance of an abandoned villa. Eli gets out of the van and opens the entrance gate with one of the keys in his bundle. He opens the door of the house and the gate of the house and within a minute or two the Toyota slides into a yard with a high fence. The gate of the villa is closed. Now they are hidden.

ELI

We arrived, Now we have to find the fucken catamaran and assemble it.

For the rest of the day, until the evening, the people are engaged in assembling the catamaran boat according to Eli's instructions.

ANNOUNCER (VOICE OVER)

Eli assembled the catamaran several times in the past with his uncle, but  he never led the process, always finding reasons to be on the sidelines, to be lazy and give his energetic uncle the honor in the act of assembly. But this time he had to be the guide to the people himself. And this put him under quite a bit of pressure. After all, it is their lives that are put to the test here. It turned out to him that his maritime experience is very little and was mainly expressed by drinking a lot of beers on the boat. The pinnacle of his achievements was when two years ago he helped his uncle sail to the Sharm-e-Sheikh Straits and back.
