It is not a good sign that they are riding along their routes.
They overtake the convoy and start climbing the plateau. Yehoshua opens his window half way and listens. Distant rumbles of shelling are heard. On the way up the road, Yehoshua and Eli come across several partially damaged tanks, facing backwards, towards the descent from the plateau.
YEHOSHUA
The situation does not look good.
He slows down the pickup truck and opens the window. He asks a group of soldiers.
YEHOSHUA
Unit 412, have you seen them?
A SOLDIER
I don't know where your unit is, but we are improving backward positions.
EXT. IN GOLAN HEIGHTS – NIGHT
The pickup truck is driving on Golan Heights Rd. They are the only vehicle on the narrow road, there is no sign of IDF forces, nor of the enemy. The thunder of shelling is heard in the distance, continuously.
