The military marching music plays loudly through the loud speakers placed on top of a jeep at the beginning of the parade. When the battalions of marching soldiers arrive at the square at the entrance of Hadera, they surround the square and disperse in the wide area of the restaurants and the gas station. Vehicles following them soon block the entire street until Iranian military police take care to order the tanks and armored personnel carriers to continue on their way from the square south towards Tel Aviv. There the dozens of tanks and armored personnel carriers stop along the road and the black soldiers from the soot of diesel descend en masse to the road beyond the square.
ANNOUNCER (VOICE OVER)
The Israeli citizens who dare to stand on the side of the road are mostly old, with numbers burned on their arms, faces that have already seen everything, Auschwitz and Birkenau, Siberia, people who experienced the horrors of World War II. Ethiopian elders are also standing there, those who survived the marches to Eritrea and Sudan until they reached Israel by a rough road. They all stand there, face down and silent. People who know that they have nowhere to continue their lives.
Suddenly the music stops and the loudspeakers start blaring the last recorded speech of Israeli Prime Minister Avraham Durk, who at that time was no longer alive.
