YEHOSHUA
This is the Cuban military attache.
says Yehoshua and in an instant, he knows that he made a mistake. An evil smile spreads across the giant soldier's face and he mockingly points with his finger, signifying a negative response.
YEHOSHUA
We must get to Tel Aviv, Barghouti's headquarters.
Yehoshua tries to convince him, but in vain.
MARINE SOLDIER (sarcastic)
Cubans also participate in battles?
YEHOSHUA
No, we're just observers.
Eli reaches Yehoshua and the Marine at the checkpoint.
ELI (ROUGHLY, IN SPANISH)
Hey soldier? where is your commander?
Eli attempts at what has been successful until now for Israeli Arab citizens or simple Palestinian soldiers, but he does not understand that the American soldier is already determined not to allow them to pass, no matter what.
MARINE SOLDIER (ARROGANTLY)
Over my dead body! No one will tell the great Mike Dalton of Pennsylvania that an armed Cuban soldier passed him at the checkpoint.
