SLIDE:
A CITY OF REFUGE
TUESDAY, 11:00
INT. A ROOM IN AN IDF BUILDING – DAY
Yehoshua only wakes up at noon to the sound of a plane whistling that flies very low over the base and makes a terrible noise. He turns over on his side as part of the stale military blanket falls from him to the floor.
ANNONCER (VOICE OVER)
Something strange bothers Yehoshua, something that doesn't really make sense. He recalls the events of the last few days from Saturday morning until now.
His hand goes down to the bandages on his leg. He discovered that when he moved, his leg no longer hurt like it used to, but was just stiff. He sits up in his bed, removes the bandages from his leg, discovers to his astonishment that the flesh that was torn a little below his knee, in an ugly wound, had already filled with flesh during the night, and the wounds had completely congealed.
ANNOUNCER (VOICE OVER)
He swallows his spittle as he remembers the strange experience with Eliran and the kaleidoscope of futuristic visions he experienced when she kissed him long, as if the stream of future events passed through her to him.
He discovers that Eliran is lying asleep on a similar bed next to him. She sighs in her sleep, as if tormented and turns to the other side.
