First, Joshua and Eli take out several jerrycans of fuel and water from the jeeps and transfer them to the Toyota and the Land Rover. They then drive the two Egyptian jeeps past a sparse group of trees that was a few dozen meters away. There they set them on fire. Then they return to the deserted road, carrying portable walkie talkies radios used by the Egyptian soldiers.
Now they extend to a convoy of three vehicles. At the front is Yehoshua, who speaks Arabic, along with Raya and Eliran, in the middle is Eli on the heavy truck, and in the back, on the Toyota pickup, driven by Eli's wife and daughter along with Itamar, the little boy who in the meantime adopted them to his new parents.
ANNOUNCER (VOICE OVER)
Later that day, Yehoshua admitted that his blood boiled when he saw the Egyptian robbers robbing the famous statue and he decided on the spot that there are things that should not be put on the agenda. Since leaving the Golan Heights and encountering the roadblock in Kfar Rama, they have had a large number of encounters with Arabs, whether they were former Israeli citizens or Palestinian soldiers or soldiers of other Arab armies, at checkpoints and other encounters.
The fear that was embedded in them at the beginning lest they be recognized as Israelis has almost disappeared. They assumed their duties in such a smooth and perfect manner that they became part of the new landscape of Israel, a landscape in which soldiers from many armies and foreigners roamed the roads and paths of the Land of Israel.
