ONE OF THE ARABS (with a smile)
Now these fish are ours, they are Arabs at last. This meal is at the expense of the Israelis.
Eli, not understanding the Arab's words, pulls out a twenty dollar bill from his pants and throws it at the Arab who picks up the bill, kisses it and quickly puts it in his pants pocket.
YEHOSHUA
Shukran (thanks), it just makes this meal tastier.
Yehoshua and Eli return to their vehicles and leave the scene.
ANNOUNCER (VOICE OVER)
Shortly after leaving the Jasser al-Zarqa area, several kilometers before Hadera, a long column of Syrian tanks stretches along the coastal road and completely blocks it. The vehicles barely move forward in the heavy traffic jams that have formed. Yehoshua, after one discussionl with Eli, decide that further down the road they will get off the coast road at the first opportunity and continue towards Hadera and from there on the old Haifa road, from Hadera to the south. This is based on the assumption that most of the Arab forces are concentrated around the coastal road. Moreover, from the axis of the old Haifa road you can escape to bypass axes, to Kfar Yona and other other places along the way. The alternatives for exiting the coastal road, on the other hand, are fewer and most likely completely blocked by vehicles. Thus Yehoshua and Eli crawled in their vehicles for hours, at a slower pace than walking, until they got off at the IEC Interchange, in front of the power plant, a few kilometers from Hadera.
