SLIDE:
Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you stay, I will stay. Your people shall become my people, and your God my God. Where you pass away, I will pass away, and there I will be buried.

In 2037, Professor Greenspan from Harvard University unveiled a groundbreaking technology that negates the Earth's gravitational pull. (This discovery earned him a Nobel Prize in Physics for his invention.) For the first time in history, humans could traverse and inhabit both the ground and the sky.
In 2044, Professor Shain reveals his technological breakthrough on hundreds of television channels after working on it for fifteen years. This innovation allows humanity to "clone" human beings by scanning a living individual and constructing a biologically indistinguishable organism (taking inspiration from science fiction films of the past). The professor's achievement is so remarkable that the copied android retains not only the physical traits but also the memories, emotions, and characteristics of the replicated individual.
All medical, religious, and governmental institutions denounce Professor Shain. He loses his professorial degree and funding for the institute where he created his inventions. Shunned and beaten down, the professor withdraws from society and retreats to a secluded home in the desert. Two years later, he disappears, buried and forgotten, and is announced dead.
Despite Professor Shain’s ouster from human society, all the world's governments secretly urge their research institutions to study and advance his inventions.
