CLAUDINE'S FATHER
Alright. Try to return as quickly as possible.
Tom approaches the pot of water, washes his face, and fills his water bottle. Then he walks over to the sleeping Claudine and their baby. He leans in, observing the tiny creature peacefully nursing in its sleep. A wave of intense love washes over him. He covers Claudine and the baby with a blanket and moves towards the fire to warm himself up a bit. Finally, he heads towards the mine entrance, where the rusty bins groan softly in the morning breeze, disappearing.
END FLASH BACK
EXT. AFTERNOON. AT THE EXIT FROM THE VALLEY
While traversing the hillside, a colossal temple, of immense proportions, a majestic cathedral, suddenly emerges in the distance before them. A small settlement with several dozen low buildings is situated a short distance from the temple. Beyond the buildings, vast fields stretch out to the horizon, adorned with irrigation canals that extend the entire distance. One of the canals reaches near the point where they depart from the valley. As the exit narrows at this location, they decide to walk directly on the tracks. Approximately 100 meters away, they spot a group of androids toiling in the surrounding fields and vineyards, all clad in white jumpsuits. From a distance, Lara notices one of the workers rising and pointing towards them, indicating a significant level of quality about them.
Her vision becomes blurry, and she freezes in her spot, attempting to prevent herself from fainting. Tom halts alongside her. They remain there for a considerable time, clinging to each other, exhausted and numb, until white spots approach and dance before their faces, foreign murmurs reach their ears, calloused hands support them, and cool water moistens their faces abruptly.
