EXT. DAY. ON THE ROOF OF THE FLYING TROLLEY
Tom, approximately 55 years old, with gray-white hair cut short, a straight nose, and gray eyes, is sitting on the roof of the trolley wearing a blue jumpsuit, gazing at the landscape of the Earth from an altitude of 3 km on a clear day with no clouds and a scorching sun. On the corner of the roof behind Tom, the antennae of the "hedgehog" can be seen peeping out. A string is suspended between a pair of poles on the opposite side of the roof, and Lara uses it to hang laundry for drying. The round overhead opening of the trolley, resembling a turretless tank, separates Lara from Tom.
Tom
What's on the menu for today?
Lara
We have vegetables, peas, and mashed potatoes.
Tom
I love mashed potatoes. (Pauses and smiles) They're going to show an old sci-fi movie from fifty years ago soon.
Lara
Tom, you should go back to the trolley. You'll bake in the sun.
Tom (in the heat)
Come watch the movie with me.
Lara
I think I'll stay on the roof for a bit. I need some fresh air.
Tom moved from his position and climbed down the ladder into the room.
Tom (chuckling)
The loss is yours. I think it's a movie about androids.
INT. EVENING. TROLLEY
Tom and Lara are seated on two narrow chairs around a small table inside a cramped room. The overhead opening of the trolley was shut, and the ladder lay on its side against the wall.
Tom
It's unfortunate that you missed out on this movie.
