INT. NIGHT. HOSPITAL CORRIDOR.
Mati walks past the closed rooms and hears light snoring and occasional banging—typical madhouse noises at night. In the distance, a cry is heard from one of the closed wards. As Matthew walks, his footsteps creak on the linoleum floor, echoing in the empty hallway.
INT. NIGHT. THE PROPHET’S ROOM
The door to the room opens, and Mati appears in the doorway, filling the room with his presence. Inside the small room, Yoram Nachman sits curled up in the corner of the bed, swaying slightly.
MATI
Can't sleep?
Mati was left without a response or reaction from Yoram. Only the prophet's eyes sparkle in the pale fluorescent light that falls from the corridor into the room. The prophet continues to sway. After a brief silence, Mati suddenly asks.
MATI
Do you know what bothers me about your story? Your family. What's happening with them? Why did you leave your family?
Long, deep silence. Mati stands to leave the room when Yoram speaks again, almost in a whisper.
YORAM
I would like to know how they are doing and if they are okay.
