NATHAN (calming down again, his gaze still fixed on Iris)

No, no problem. Everything's great!

He turns around angrily and leaves the place. He passes by Iris's colleague, ignoring her tempting gestures as if she were air.

EXT. DAY. A DESERTED STREET NEAR THE OLD CENTRAL STATION IN TEL AVIV.

A multitude of Chinese, Romanians, Filipinos, and Nigerians block the alley. The street looks as if it's after a bombing. There's a flipped car and two large overturned trash bins. The spilled garbage from the upturned bin is burning, and several burning bracelets lie nearby. Dozens of policemen stand facing them, wearing masks and riot gear, holding batons and shields in their hands. Between the police line and the foreign workers, there is a TV reporter with a microphone in his hand. Next to him stands a black foreign worker. A transparency appears in the upper right corner of the screen. "Live broadcast from the scene".

The camera rises slightly above the buildings, and thick clouds of heavy smoke billow above the nearby street.

TV REPORTER

We still don't know the foolishness of who was behind this, but the disturbing fact is that violent arrests of several foreign workers took place last night. They set fire in the midst of hundreds of thousands of foreign workers living in the country. All night long, the foreign workers went wild in downtown Tel Aviv. A protest of dozens of Colombian laborers suddenly received unexpected reinforcements from hundreds of Romanians, Filipinos, Thais, and Nigerians.
