It's highly unusual for an entire settlement to be evacuated overnight and vanishes as if swallowed by the earth. Suppliers who arrived early in the morning found the kibbutz completely deserted. Police investigators were called to the scene to determine the whereabouts of the kibbutz members. An hour later, it was revealed that all the kibbutz members, including men, women, children, and babies, had left Israel during the night and fled to Canada.

Hanan, the kibbutz secretary, a tall and thin young man with a distressed expression, appears on screen. Clad in a light blue shirt, he reads from a note in his hand, hardly looking at the camera.
