Young women with bloodied faces flee from the tumult. The haredim’s white attire is now stained with red. A policeman grips a woman and another officer mercilessly strikes her. A young student sprints, clutching his jaw, his mouth bruised and bleeding. Images of people ruthlessly striking one another, some brandishing signs in their hands. Above the square, the leader gazes down, his face composed, observing the chaos bearing his name. A smile or two flickers across his face.
Above the square, the leader observes with an unyielding gaze from his portrait hanging on the facade. A few objects are thrown, but his image remains untouched in the background.
EXT. NIGHT. BEYOND THE FENCE OF AN EVENTS GARDEN
The garden is illuminated by soft white light from garden lamps. Mati walks along a winding path on the garden's outskirts and reaches the prophet sitting, humbly, on a small bench, among the lush greenery. At his feet is a half-empty bottle of water and leftovers from an impromptu dinner. Somewhere in the center of the garden, a lively wedding celebration is taking place. A DJ dances with the crowd, taking his seat next to Yoram without a word.
YORAM (eyes closed)
Hello, Mati.
DJ (with enthusiasm, voice-over)
And now, ladies and gentlemen, by special request, I invite the bride and groom for their first dance! Applause, please!!
