A brief silence ensues until the gang of thugs retreats and disappears into the darkness of the parking lot. Gradually, they fade away, leaving Mati and Yoram bewildered by the swift turn of events. The American car speeds backward with screeching tires and comes to a sudden halt with a loud sound of brakes. Then, it accelerates and vanishes from the dark parking lot, leaving Mati and Yoram stunned by the rapid transformations in the situation.
EXT. EARLY MORNING. STREET
Mati strolls along the dark and empty street. He moves lightly, an unusual sight for his big, heavyset body. His short walking stick is held firmly in his armpit. The rear window of the limousine opens, and a man's head pops out.
