Not just one, but several committees. Committees for the Chinese, committees for the Romanians, and also for the Filipinos and Nigerians.
The TV reporter speaks into the microphone he is holding.
TV REPORTER
You haven't forgotten about the Colombians, have you?
POLITICIAN (not getting confused)
There are too few of them, they will join the Romanian workers committee.
The politician disconnects from the reporter and approaches the multitude of foreign workers. From somewhere, he pulls out a megaphone. With caution, he climbs onto the burnt car, assisted by two people so as not to soil his suit. As he stands there, he extends the megaphone toward them.
POLITICIAN
Dear friends! What happened last night must not happen! You, who have come here to help and build the country, need to organize and demand your legal rights! The terrible indifference of the Israelis requires you to organize through us, as a workers' union! We will grant you many more holidays, generous retirement benefits, and severance pay similar to Israeli workers. We will provide you with protection against the injustices of the police and Israeli employers!
