STRANGER
It's a long story. Let's find a place to stop the car, and I'll tell you over a cup of coffee. (Pause) In the meantime, concentrate on your trip.
YORAM (With a great sense of relief that they are about to exit the car)
Here, this place will do.
EXT. NIGHT. AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE CAFÉ
The car swerves wildly from the center of the road into the right lane and pulls into the gas station next to the café. Brakes squeak as the car parks directly in front of the illuminated doorway. The officers in a police car, visibly dissatisfied, observe the incoming car but are too fatigued to get out and cause problems for the driver. Yoram swiftly exits the car, appearing like an escaped prisoner, and stands behind the door, alert, watching as the stranger calmly steps out from the opposite side.
Only now, standing in the light, with other passengers from nearby cars a few meters away at the parking lot exit, does Yoram dare to take a breath. The stranger's calm demeanor upon exiting the car is striking. Yoram presses the remote control, causing the car to emit a slight whine and lock. Yoram gazes intently at the stranger as he begins to walk toward the café. Hesitant, Yoram follows, and they both disappear inside the café.
INT. NIGHT. COFFEE SHOP
Yoram stands in front of the cash register, with a waitress behind him, smiling. Yoram turns to the stranger standing next to him, feeling slightly calmer.
