Varda opens the office door, holds the office door open and says to Lydia.
VARDA
Please, he’s inside.
Lydia enters the office and Varda follows her, she closes the door. Reuven sits in the executive chair in his white shirt and is busy with a mountain of papers. He is no longer young but an old man.
VARDA
I brought Lydia.
Reuven looks up. He stands up in honor of Lydia but doesn’t take a step to approach Lydia across the table, being an ultra-Orthodox man.
REUVEN
Hello Lydia. Good to see you. I haven’t seen you since the funeral. I hope you are feeling well.
Lydia sits in the chair opposite Reuven. He sits down behind her in the minister’s chair.
