INT. IN THE KITCHEN OF LYDIA’S HOUSE – MORNING
Lydia finishes drinking her morning cup of coffee. She is already dressed and ready to go out. She dials the phone.
LYDIA
Hello. Miri?
ANONYMOUS (VOICE OVER)
No, this is Lital, how can I help you?
LYDIA
Hi, this is Lydia. I won’t be able to come to the ward today. I’m not feeling so well. Please let the right people know. It’s a good thing, I don’t have any surgeries today.
Lydia hangs up the phone call and seems to relax. She gets up, grabs her bag, the bunch of keys hanging by the front door and leaves the house.
INT. MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR IN JERUSALEM – DAY
Lydia arrives at the minister’s office. The hallway is empty, in fact, the entire floor seems deserted. Varda walks past her. An older but cute woman, with a scythe on her head and an unruly curl sticking out over her forehead. Lydia turns to her.
LYDIA
Excuse me, I’m looking for Reuven.
VARDA
On what business?
