They exit the hospital room. Reish-Alef walks slowly, leaning on his crutches. The effort takes a toll on him, and he starts breathing heavily and sighing heavily.
Tzadik-Vav, the physiotherapist, is attentive, staying close enough to catch him if he falls. They pass by the courtyard of the facility. Twenty-five cyclists are pedaling ceaselessly. Shin-Bet exits the room he's in and approaches to greet Reish-Alef. The cyclists remain in their positions, continuing to pedal.
SHIN-BET
Welcome back, Reish-Alef.
REISH-ALEF
Thank you, Shin-Bet. These are just the first steps.
SHIN-BET
It's very important that you recover as quickly as possible. Our community isn't particularly patient or forgiving, you know…
REISH-ALEF
I'll do my best.
INT. HOSPITAL ROOM – NIGHT
Reish-Alef sits on his bed. The effort of walking is evident, and he looks exhausted. Gimmel-bet enters the room and sits on the bed across from him.
