Most of the energy generated by the pedaling facility is directed toward the vegetable plots. The illumination here is sufficiently intense to allow the plants to perform photosynthesis and grow. It fosters the production of oxygen and facilitates the cultivation of vegetables. The community puts systematic effort into expanding the vegetable beds in order to increase the yield available for picking and consumption by the hungry community.
EXT. ANIMAL ENCLOSURE – DAY
Yud-Yud enters one of the dozens of animal enclosures. Numerous rabbits scurry around him as he offers them the greens that were on the radishes a few moments ago. Occasionally, he tosses a small radish or an inedible one to them.

Eat up, eat up. In a few months, during our Independence Day, we'll celebrate with all of you at our feasts.

The presence of the rabbit farm facilitated the provision of meat during festive occasions, but of greater significance, it facilitated the creation of milk from the rabbits' fat, a resource that could be utilized for crafting candles that would illuminate the living spaces of community members, eliminating the need for energy derived from their continuous pedaling efforts.
