INT. DINING ROOM – DAY
Reish-Alef and his workmate, Samach-Vav, join a line of several other people waiting for their lunch. A pale lamp casts light on the small line of people.
SAMACH-VAV
I still remember the time when we used to have three meals a day.
REISH-ALEF
Today, our only meal is at noon. And what's in it? A few boiled vegetables, some raw vegetables. Sometimes vegetable soup. The last time I had meat was on Independence Day, about three months ago.
SAMACH-VAV
Sniff the food around, that way you'll feel more satisfied…
REISH-ALEF
Sniffing the food inside me won't satiate me, it will just make me hungrier.
SAMACH-VAV
How's your girlfriend doing? What's her name?
