ANONYMOUS (TO HIS FRIEND)
This time we are being taken out of our region in favor of another region, still lit. This is our second evacuation. I don't know how the state will manage to finance all these people, when whole cities are being evacuated like this in a panic.
FRIEND OF THE UNKNOWN
And what will happen with all the abandoned property of the people who will now be left with one suitcase as their only property on earth?
Reish-Alef's mother is holding the child Reish-Alef's palm in her hand.
REISH-ALEF THE CHILD
Mom, where are they taking us?
REISH ALEF'S MOTHER
Reish-Alf, they are taking us to a place where there is still light. I hope we will have a better time in the new place.
The train arrives at the platform. Thousands of people are pushing to get on it.
