Today, even Mount Vesuvius began emitting white smoke from its summit. This is likely just a prelude, heating up for what's to come in the coming days. Italian authorities are concerned about the expected eruption and have evacuated the entire Naples region. Approximately three million people rushed onto thousands of buses, with only one suitcase allowed per evacuee. Oh, Italy! What will become of you?
CUT TO
EXT. COMMUNITY WATER FACILITY – DAY
The community water facility is distant from the faint lamp and therefore shrouded in almost complete darkness. Gimmel-Bet follows the pipes to something resembling a large, elevated pool filled with water. The pipes rise towards the pool and disappear into it.
As she turns to head back to the containers, someone unexpectedly jumps on her and knocks her to the muddy ground. Gimmel-Bet struggles fiercely, but he's heavy, and his long arms, along with his weight, overpower her. He wears a sock mask and a cap, rendering him unrecognizable. He attempts to kiss her, but she bites him, causing him to recoil in a cry of pain and anger. He curses at her and with one released hand, strikes her with a fist on her face.
