Reish-Alef pedals within a vast facility containing roughly a hundred bicycles, accompanied by approximately twenty-five other individuals pedaling beside him at this moment. These are not standard bicycles tailored for leisure or transportation, but a sprawling mechanism comprised of numerous bicycles, gathering energy for the community's "sun." This very setup supplies the community, encompassing around 250 people, with electrical energy, illumination, and consequently, water and sustenance.
Reish-Alef halts his pedaling and remains seated for about a minute, regaining his composure. Only then is he supposed to dismount from the apparatus that harnesses the strength of the community members. He is completely drenched in sweat. He is waiting for the clock to show ten o'clock.

Reish-Alef exhales deeply and recommences pedaling for the remaining seven minutes. In the meantime, others take over the shift, relieving the fatigued peddlers. Yud-Gimmel arrives to assume Reish-Alef's position, yet he waits a few additional minutes for Reish-Alef to complete his assigned time.
