The left-wing government's trap is closing in on the settlers, and they find themselves ensnared. They have sealed the gates. Contrary to all agreements between the left-wing government and the Palestinian Authority, they have declared the settlers as enemies. This creates a new reality where Israeli citizens, the settlers, must return to the borders of Israel since it is illegal to remain in an enemy state. Those who return may not face prosecution, but it will be forbidden for them to return to Judea and Samaria due to its status as an enemy state. In this way, the Israeli left-wing government is trapping the settlers, compelling them to formally declare themselves as a state. Clearly, the Israeli left is inclined to make a pact with the Palestinians, despite declaring them as enemies, thus shifting the conflict to the confined territory of Judea and Samaria alone. Furthermore, to avoid appearing as collaborators with the settlers, a decision was made from Israel's side to carry out an arms and ammunition embargo on the settlers. This action portrays Israel as distancing itself from the challenge presented by the settlers in Judea and Samaria, effectively disassociating itself from the situation.
