EXT. MILITARY BASE COURTYARD – NIGHT
The clinking sounds of communication devices are audible in the courtyard. A spotlight illuminates the small courtyard with white light. Yehuda climbs into the jeep, not before placing most of his gear next to the passenger seat. He exits the base after a soldier opens the gate. As the jeep reaches the road, Yehuda accelerates towards Ma'ale Shomron. The small red lights of the jeep are seen in the distance against a dark road.
EXT. ROAD TOWARDS MA'ALE SHOMRON – NIGHT
Yehuda drives in his jeep.
RADIO ANNOUNCER (VOICE OVER)
Here is the incoming news. First and foremost, an agreement has been established between the Prime Minister and the Arab parties. Consequently, a left-wing government has emerged, aiming to fulfill the left's dream: two states for two peoples. The Prime Minister also added that the government's policy will be a commitment to peace with the Palestinians "at any cost."
EXT. INCIDENT LOCATION – NIGHT
Yehuda's jeep arrives at the scene of the incident, positioned toward the road leading to the Ma'ale Shomron settlement. An American SUV and another vehicle are parked by the roadside. Yehuda disembarks from the vehicle, greeted with salutes by the soldiers. The commander of the settler unit stands waiting for him.
SETTLER UNIT COMMANDER
We caught them in the act. Two were "neutralized".
Laughter breaks out among the other unit members, and Yehuda smiles too.
