He’s the first to jump and crawl into the cave’s entrance.

INT. ROOM – DAY

YECHIEL

I forgot to tell you, my name is Yechiel. I am fifty-three years old, and I have spent my entire adult life in this job as a researcher. Naturally, this has had a significant impact on my personality and behavior in society, to the point where I’m considered, and rightly so, as somewhat unsociable, a type that everyone stays away from. But that’s not true. The fact is, I found the love of my life during these years, precisely in my field of work. At the beginning of my journey, I was an innocent type, happy and good-hearted, albeit not at the center of society but certainly not an outcast. But as mentioned, today, that has changed, and my job has turned me into what I am.

EXT. IN A SMALL CAVE – DAY

It’s dark in the cave, and it takes a few minutes for the eyes to adjust to the cave’s light. A second soldier crawls into the cave as well. The first soldier approaches what appears to be a flat wall in an unnatural shape. He feels the wall with his hands. He turns to the cave entrance and calls out.

SOLDIER 1

Bring me my rifle.

A rifle is handed to the soldier from outside. He takes the rifle and with its butt hits the wall. Where the wall was hit, signs of peeling are visible. A second hit with the butt of the rifle opens a hole in the wall.

The second soldier in his hands grabs the remains of the sand from what used to be a wall.
