The van leaves the parking lot, and goes up the dirt path leading from the institute towards the paved road located a few kilometers from the mountain. A cloud of dust rises from the van’s wheels.
EXT. ENTRANCE OF THE EMERGENCY ROOM – DAY
Naveh’s van stops at the entrance to the emergency room. Two orderlies, brothers, with a stretcher head towards the pickup truck. Naveh opens the passenger door. Yechiel lies passed out on his seat. The two paramedics pull him out and lay him down on the stretcher.

A FEW HOURS LATER
Naveh is standing in the hallway of the hospital. A young female doctor goes out to him.
FEMALE DOCTOR
He had an appendicitis attack. He arrived in serious condition, I operated on him and he will be fine. It will take him a few Days to recover.
NAVEH
thank you doctor what is your name please?
He struggles to read the tag on her shirt.
The doctor spares Naveh the reading of her tag.
FEMALE DOCTOR
My name is Lydia. And what is your relation to the patient?
NAVEH
My name is Naveh. I’m his boss. You could say I act as his guardian.
LYDIA
What does he do?
NAVEH
He is some kind of archaeologist.
