INT. IN THE ENTRANCE HALL TO PETAH HAARE – MORNING
In the morning, the voices of the Bedouins returning to the institute are heard. Yechiel’s head rises in the dim light in the entrance hall, upon hearing their voices. The Bedouins enter the entrance of the institute, dragging a welder with them. They start welding the door. The steel door at the entrance has a streak of sparks and light where the welding goes through. A loud hiss of welding is heard and a foul smell reaches Yechiel’s nose.

He tightens his grip on the gun he is holding. A loaded cartridge inside the rifle. The light line of the welding inside the door completes a complete circle. A tremendous blow from the outside tears the inside of the door and the welded part falls with a thud into the entrance hall of the ground floor. A groping hand enters and unlocks the door.
The Bedouins enter the entrance hall without warning and are surprised. Yechiel fires several quick shots and several Bedouins fall to the floor with cries of pain and surprise. The others quickly retreat, the door remains open.
BEDOUIN
Who is this? Is your name Yechiel?
After a short silence Yechiel answers.
YECHIEL
You are not supposed to be here!
BEDOUIN
Listen Yechiel, we will let you go out, no one will will hurt you, on my word! as a believing Bedouin.
YECHIEL
