INT. AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE MOUNTAIN – DAY
Lydia and Yahiel, dressed in hazmat suits, look like a pair of astronauts. Yechiel completes final checks on the integrity of Lydia’s suit. They penetrate through the opening of the mountain. A spotlight turns on as soon as they are inside. A mobility scooter that is charged with electricity is parked near the entrance. Yechiel takes the electric plug out of the mobility scooter. He sits down on the mobility scooter and invites Lydia to sit down.
YECHIEL
How many times have you visited the mountain with me?
LYDIA
This is the eighth time. It’s like feeling like you’re walking on some planet.
YECHIEL
exactly like that.
INT. INSIDE THE MOUNTAIN – DAY
Lydia and Yahiel are both dressed in hazmat suites, oxygene cylinders on their shoulders, riding the mobility scooter deep inside the mountain. When they approach a mount of bookcases, the light turns on and all the surrounding are fully exposed in the strong light of the projector.
As they move further away from the bookcases, the light goes out and darkness takes over again. Except for the flickering lights of the mobility scooter across the bottom of the mountain. They travel along the length of a thick electrical cable that lies on the ground and leads from one mountain
LYDIA
Yechiel, who do you think maintains this whole mighty enterprise?
YECHIEL
I really don’t know.
After driving in the dark for a few minutes, a humanoid creature in a white dress whose eyes are burning with red light blocks their way. They discover his red eyes from a distance. In the light of the mobility scooter, the shadow of another bookcase mountain is already reflected.
The creature signals for them to stop and Yechiel stops about twenty meters away from him. Yechiel and Lydia remain sitting in the mobility scooter, in silence and with immense tension.
