INT. A HOSPITAL ROOM – DAY
Yechiel is lying in bed alone in the room. A pair of orderlies brings a new patient into the room. They move him to the empty bed near to Yechiel and leave. The new patient’s wife enters the room following the orderlies. After they leave the room Yechiel turns to her.
YECHIEL
what’s wrong with him?
WIFE
My husband didn’t wake up this morning. He sleeps and sleeps and sleeps…
YECHIEL
And he didn’t wake up?
WIFE
We had to call an ambulance because he kept sleeping. It took time and in the end they managed to wake him up.
YECHIEL
Blessed are you, God, who restores souls to dead carcasses.
WIFE
