The Institute 1 – Page 37

NAVEH

With our meager means we mapped the hall.

A map appears on the screen.

NAVEH

As you can see, the map is somewhat similar to the world map. In the coming Days we will pass with the mobility scooter and reach every place and place, and we will take samples of cups from there and make sure that the people in the cups are geographically compatible with the world map. We will hang big signs in each and every area.

YECHIEL

It seems to me that this is a map of places where a Jewish settlement existed. There are countries that are not reflected in this map, where no Jews arrived.

INT. IN THE INSTITUTE’S KITCHENETTE – DAY

Helen is sitting on a chair next to the small table as Yechiel prepares coffee for him and her.

YECHIEL

What’s up with you you’ve been in a bad mood for a few days.

HELEN

You know, working with dead people doesn’t help me…

YECHIEL

I can’t say anything about your feelings towards the work, but what we do is a big and important job.

HELEN

So that’s it, I don’t feel like we’re progressing in any direction. We are simply recording the death of many people from thousands of years ago.

YECHIEL

If there’s anything I can do to help, I’m interested, but if not, you need to talk to Naveh urgently, about your feelings.
