The Institute 1 – Page 28

YECHIEL

Yes. I join. If it is a meaningful and groundbreaking project, I am ready to sacrifice the price it will require of me.

YECHIEL (VOICE OVER)

At that time I didn’t know anything but I really wanted to join this pioneering team.

INT. MEETING ROOM IN THE PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE – DAY

Naveh stands in front of a team of engineers with his computer connected to the projector.

NAVEH

The entire plain below the mountain is actually a valley, we must take this into account. Therefore, after consultations, I propose the following. In the place where we opened the entrance to the mountain, a structure will be placed that will lead to stairs and two elevators to the top of the mountain. The mountain is flat so that is where we will place the main building that will contain the secretariat and management, the laboratories, the work rooms for the staff and the private living areas of the people. In general, there will also be rooms for site guards, cleaners, cooks and secretaries. To a large extent we are building this as an isolated laboratory as if we were on the planet Mars.

Naveh’s computer shows a blueprint of the expected institute. The entrance structure houses elevators and stairs leading to the rear of the mountain. Behind the elevators, there is a warehouse, showers, purification rooms, and the exit leading into the mountain.

A submarine door protects the entire entrance to the rear from possible flooding. In such a case, the submarine door will seal the entrance in the event of a flood or inundation.

NAVEH (CONTINUED)

Three things about the entry below. One, the building and the entrance to the mountain will be floodproof, since the building will always.
