INDOOR CONFERENCE HALL – DAY

Many security personnel are sitting in the comfortable armchairs in the hall. The head of security comes on stage.

THE HEAD OF SECURITY

Today a very serious incident happened in the Knesset. Someone tried to assassinate both the prime minister and the leader of the opposition.

The security men look like a flock of submissive sheep sitting in the conference hall. Most of them are tired after the big battle. One security man sits with large bandages on him.

CHIEF OF SECURITY (WAVING HIS FINGER THREATENINGLY)

So I want to remind you that you all signed a confidentiality statement and it is also valid for today. I don’t want to hear any leaks from you about what happened. And now I tell you what you really saw… You have not seen a demon and an angel. What you saw was a terrorist who entered the building to murder people! You will not say a word beyond that. this is our official version!

CHIEF OF SECURITY (WAVING HIS FINGER THREATENINGLY) (CONT’D)

Remember, whoever opens his mouth beyond that, will be fired immediately, his pension will be denied and he will find himself in prison for many years.

A SECURITY MAN FROM THE CROWD

And how do we explain the fact that we had eight dead and several more seriously injured?
