A cloud of smoke rises from the opening and takes a few minutes to disperse and disappear. Naveh peeks into the black hole in the wall.

NAVEH (TO THE ROBOT OPERATOR)

Let’s bring the robot into the mountain, but first, turn on the projector on its head. Let’s see what’s there.

The robot is inserted into the opening. The robot operator stands and looks at the remote control that operates the robot.

On the remote that is the size of a laptop, is seen an image of what the robot sees. They watch the steps of the gaunt robot disappear through the opening on its way into the mountain. His heels raise clouds of dust, as if he were on the soil of the moon. In the light of the projector on the robot’s head it looks as if it is walking in a blue blizzard. After a few seconds the image becomes clearer and it turns out that he is moving in a vast empty space. After about a quarter of an hour of walking the robot discovers a kind of huge bookcase consisting of wide metal shelves, on some floors some of the shelves are empty and on some it is full to the brim with cups. The robot continues walking and further on there are more islands of open metal bookcases with cups stacked on them. The walls built from the metal drawers are getting taller and taller. Naveh turns to the robot operator.

NAVEH

Tell it to come back, so it doesn’t disappear inside.

ROBOT OPERATOR

Don’t you want to take a few cups for sampling?

NAVEH

At this stage, the robot doesn’t touch anything, just observes.
