She sits beside Yehuda.

YEHUDA

I think the time has come, and you need to decide if you want to live and where. As of now, I'm considered a defector from the IDF, and we're on the brink of a brutal war in Judea and Samaria. Do you love me enough to join me in Samaria and live with me, even though there's a chance I'll be wounded or killed? I belong to the renegades.

TAMAR

What a question, really?

She caresses Yehuda's back.

YEHUDA

The borders have already closed. You need to come with me tomorrow afternoon. I don't know what the future holds. Think carefully before you answer.

There's a short silence. Tamar gets up and puts on some casual clothing.

TAMAR

You should get some sleep, it'll be morning soon.

YEHUDA

No, I won't be able to fall asleep. Let's have some coffee.

TAMAR

I understand that today is the day. Tonight, the State of Judea will be declared.

She sits beside Yehuda.
