A small fire warms them as they sit surrounding it. The girl, Claudine, shyly tries not to lock her eyes on Tom, or at least not to show how curious she is about him, although everyone is aware of her reactions. The two men are her uncle and father, while the boy is her brother. Two of the women are her mother and aunt, and there is another female relative, older than them.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n\n CLAUDINE'S FATHER<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n So, you're saying they killed your companions?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n\n TOM<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n I believe they see and hear everything through their TV screens.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n\n THE BOY, CLAUDINE'S BROTHER<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n Oh my God!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n\n TOM<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n From what do you survive here in the desert?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n\n CLAUDINE'S FATHER<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n We have in the mine a shaft full of water and another one leading down to the mine.<\/span> We find our food through hunting. My son is our most skilled hunter.
