INT. LEAVING THE HOSPITAL – AFTERNOON

Yechiel and Lydia on their way out of the hospital.

YECHIEL

We will drive this time in my car, although the car has traveled 300,000 km, and it doesn’t look like who knows what, but it’s mine, close to me… and I can come visit you whenever I want.

LYDIA

At least the fuel, tolls and insurance expenses are not on you.

YECHIEL

I parked outside, let’s go outside.

They walk towards the parking lot, a white Toyota Corolla is waiting for them, but also hundreds of demonstrators from both camps. One demonstration on the left with Israeli flags, and a second demonstration on the right, also with Israeli flags. They barely make it through the commotion, the demonstrators on both sides holding whistles in their mouths and whistling non-stop. Many people with megaphones are shouting into them and the noise is tremendous. Yechiel and Lydia navigate the turbulent crowds and arrive at the parking lot outside the hospital. They stand in front of the vehicle.

YECHIEL

This is the bride.

LYDIA

Open, open the car, my ears are ringing because of the whistles. what madness.

YECHIEL

I can’t believe what we have to go through today to eat some Ice cream…
