To understand what I am writing here you will have to read my stories and get to know them, but I believe it is worth the experience.

There is no doubt that the work that made me a writer (and screenwriter) is the script "2010", it shaped me as a writer. My writing after it was no longer the same. It is still written as a sketch of a story, at the beginning of chapters, but its strength makes it a proper script.

My largest piece in terms of length to date is "Planet Israel", and it is among the most creative and original (together with "The Institute"). It is a very complex piece that required me to learn quite a few things. This is my most cynical and fun work towards both the Palestinians and the Israelis and it is also my most non-politically correct series.

The piece that was the hardest for me to write is undoubtedly "A Journey". I shared with it quite a few of my most demonic fears about what might be here if… and I was milky in my description. But the end of "A Journey" is great! It balances this whole horrible story and makes it bearable.

A Script that moved me very much is "The city of the dead", about how fate and war deceive the heroes of the story. In this section of combining historical events and private events of the little people that creates a reality and a story out of nothing and with great complexity.

"The prophet" also has very sensitive and personal sides for me. There is no doubt that the few but difficult years I had in my financial past definitely helped shape the character of "The Prophet".

"Metamorphosis" is the work that is most invested in love. (Make no mistake, I love all my creations). In writing it, I used a lot of music that served as a catalyst for me. I will expand on the subject of music in a special chapter in the future.

The script I am most proud of is "Lara", which is a universal script for a long series (and not related to Israel). In "Lara" there are bold and breathtaking landscape pictures, together with a depressing environment and many questions about the androids, their view of themselves, their world, their culture and their attitude towards humans. I will not expand on the subject, read for yourself. The script is very sophisticated and full of twists, with an unforgettable ending. Don't forget that I wrote Lara as my first screenplay and a long time ago, although I changed and improved it over the years.

And about the contemporary work, The Institute, which is still being published these days, I think it is the most mature, creative and original of all the scripts I have created to date. In the meantime, you are two-thirds of the publication of Institute 1, but don't forget, Institute 2, Institute 3 and, for dessert, Institute 4 are also on the way.
I will talk about the other scripts in the future. That will be enough for today.

Coming soon

The script “Journey” is under translation.
